City of Avon

 The Avon Fire Department is a voluntary service and currently has 29 members.  There is an annual fundraiser, usually in August or late July.  Most recently, the fundraiser consists of an Appreciation Supper, Fire Department Water Fights, and a Bean Bag Tournament.
